Jay Sand is the founder and lead teacher of All Around This World, a dynamic global music and world cultures curriculum for young children that encourages kids everywhere to explore the wealth of world cultures through singing, dancing and FUN. Through extensive work with international culture-bearers, Jay has adapted more than 300 songs and cultural experiences that originate in over 100 countries, inspiring his students to become open-minded, open-hearted citizens of the world.

John founded the World Music Foundation after seeing first-hand the difference that Music can make in people’s lives. After several years of running his own business, he decided to commit his resources and experience to filling the void of lacking musical diversity in communities around the world. He holds as a guiding principle that the positive effects of opening a mind through cultural music exposure has the potential to ripple throughout an entire society.

Jeanette Mihalchik is a National Board Certified music teacher with almost 3 decades of experience teaching general music. She is an Arts Integration Specialist, an instructional coach, a National presenter, and a mentor. She is Orff Certified and mentors teachers through The Happy Music Teacher Academy. Jeanette is the author of resource books, Stories That Sing and Stories That Sing Too!
